Workshop with Ryliss Bod:

We have partnered up with the Sewing and Design School and Ryliss Bod is coming to the San Francisco Bay Area!

If you are tired of ending up with ill-fitting garments, this workshop is for you. Whether you have been working with your own slopers or commercial patterns, we will show you how to make your patterns and "me-made" garments work for you and your body!

This is not just a small group workshop, it is an event! We truly go all out - the space is beautiful and inviting, the setting small and intimate. The registration fee includes a yummy lunch and refreshments, too.

Level: This small group workshop is perfect for the confident beginner, ages 16 and up.

Instructor: Ryliss Bod is the Founder and Director of the Sewing and Design School and has extensive experience teaching Fashion Construction and Design at a Washington State Technical College.

She received her teaching degree in K-12 grades and studied art, clothing and textiles at Central Washington University, pattern-making and CAD at Gerber Technology, fashion design at the Paris Fashion Institute, pattern-making and construction techniques with Kenneth D. King and countless others. She is also a Contributing Editor at Sew News Magazine.

Skills developed: in this workshop, you will learn:

  • how to make patterns work for you and your body
  • how to identify fit issues and make the necessary adjustments and corrections

We will be working with your the slopers you made in Kenneth's workshop (Check out this Moulage Workshop). We will also use said slopers to make adjustments to commercial patterns. Bring as many patterns from home as your would like.

When: 05/27/19 from 9:30am to 4pm

Workshop Fee: $300 (includes lunch). Enjoy a 10% discount when you register by 12/31/18.

Materials: a material list will be emailed to you upon registration.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel before 03/25/19, you will receive a full refund, less a $10.00 processing fee/PayPal merchant fees. No refunds will be issued after 03/25/19.
